Two documents; Sorting and stuff

For the last ten years I did most of my macro work in wordperfect for dos.
never made the transition to wp for windows as I find it messes up
keystrokes and stuff.
I've been using textpad now for about 6 months and it is the only app
that will permit me to do macros on huge data files such as raw census
data. I also write oodles of syntax files for spss with it.
I just discovered that it supports macros across two documents.
Now I'll probably use wordperfect less.
I wish that there was a keystroke combination that permitted moving between 2 documents, such as Shift-f3 in wordperfect.
Also, one thing wordperfect does that I don't think textpad does is:
Block On, Search, Block off, cut and then move the text.
That capability is something I use all the time in wordperfect.
Wordperfect also allows you to select text and then do a search within the selected text, although I've not had to do that for a long while and have forgotten how.
Sorting would also be nice.
great program, a must program for social researchers.
