Compatibility issues

I installed the newest verison of textpad on my Sony computer and one of the programs that was on the computer when I got it (Giga Pocket) would no longer open. I got a message telling that another application was using the hardware overlay. I have the XP verison of windows on my computer. Has any one else had this problem? If so how did you fix it? please email me vwbuggirl4@mchsi.com
