I prefer to have all the files in a same window.

I remembered that the former version did this. however, when I installed 4.6.2, it open files with different windows. BTW, my os is win2000.

Does anyone know how to set it? Thanks a lot!

Do you mean Window->Tile Horizontally (or vertically)?

Configure/Preferences/General/Allow multiple instances to run <-- unchecked
