wishlist - resizable Find/Replace dialog

Post by Peter Wone »

Some of my regexes are quite long. It would be very handy to be able to widen the Find/Replace dialog.

Even handier would be the ability to dock this dialog to the top or bottom of the document parent window.

Better yet, how about doing this so that Find/Replace, the Command window and the Search Result window can all be docked. One generally only wants one of these at a time, so you could combine them into one dock panel selecting between them with tabs. Possibly the Find/Replace dialog could be docked into the top of the Search Result window.

Got to agree with Peter here. Make it like the document selector. The competition (UltraEdit) does this very poorly, and it should be strengthened in TP.

Me too but add the ability to resize the type size as well and also to have a longer list of previously used items...or the ability to save items some place.
Best Wishes!
