Running compiled Java App more than once

Using the Textpad application, I can compile my Java code as many times as I want, but if I attempt to *run* the code more than once, Textpad simply disappears and I must reload the application and open the code again.
Any suggestions

If you are not already using version 4.6.2, then try this and see if it fixes your problem.

Thanks, already have that version installed. We only noticed this issue since updating. I am not sure if it was a problem with the previous version.
