I recently upgraded from WIN98SE and now when I compile, it says exited with code 128 or something like that. Anyone know how to solve this??

I would try to uninstall and re-install the JRE, take the default values.

Had that problem myself... its the class path (yes the great fun "oh how I love them" class path).
Redo your class path corectly, and if that doesn't fix it, reinstall the JDK. That should do it
