Another thing that I cannot figure out is that when I save a file it always goes back to the root directory instead of the the last directory that I saved a text file in....I think this somewhat cumbersome as then I have to search through the directories to save the file rather than use the up-one-level key......

Is there a way to correct this??

Configure - Preferences - General - Working folder follows active document
