Bug - Document Selector Accesses A: Drive
Posted: Sat Jan 04, 2003 3:12 am
I just installed Textpad 4.6.
When I use the document selector (the docked window on the left), Textpad tries to access my A:\ drive each time I select a document.
Before installing 4.6, I uninstalled 4.5 through the Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs). Then I installed 4.6. I rebooted my machine before using it, and then entered my license code as soon as I was able to.
It was getting annoying, so in the end I just re-installed 4.5. My machine has been rock-solid stable since it was built (not a single problem with it), and considering I'm using it for heavy work 18-hours-a-day, that's saying something.
Here are my tech specs:
Windows XP Pro w/ SP1
All Windows updates
Athlon 2200+
768 MB RAM
Primary HD - 40 GB HD
Secondary HD - 30 GB HD
Primay CD - DVD
Secondary CD - 24x14x40 CDRW
Thanks,
Chris
