Remember last position in files

My favorite DOS text editor had a feature that I loved and that doesn't appear to exist in my new favorite text editor, TextPad. That old DOS editor was able to remember the last cursor position in every file that it had ever opened, so if I reopened that file later the cursor was right there. This was extremely handy when working on code. If anybody knows of a way to configure TextPad to work like this, I would love to know the technique.

Hello Bart,
If you save your files as a Workspace, then the cursor position is remembered. From TextPad's File menu, choose Workspace / Save As.

That is a partial solution, but I am in and out of files all the time, not just a single set of files. I would like TextPad to automagically remember the last position in whatever random file I open next (assuming that it had previously been opened in TextPad).

This is where the favorite files menu request would come in.
