What am I doing wrong. With Block Select Mode selected, and text physically selected, the Fill Block pick off of the Edit menu remains greyed out. I used it once and it worked well. Don't know what happened. I have not changed Fonts..any help or advice would be appreciated. My thanks in advance.

I know that text wrapping disables block select and Fill - could that be the problem?

Thanks for the try Ed! I should have covered that in my initial post. The Word Wrap selection from the Configure Menu is not selected. Damn, this is driving me nuts! Can anyone figure why I would be experiencing this? Could it be a flaw(i.e. opportunity for a guru) in the software?
Thanks

Hello Mark,

The most likely reason for the Fill Block option being disabled, is that you are using a proportional font such as Arial. Please try changing the font to Courier New, and see if that helps.

Thank you very much Stephen! That did it. I actually did try using other fonts. Guess I never picked a "right" one. Is there an easy way of distinguishing the proportional fonts from the rest? Which ones are "non" proportional? My sincere thanks to you.

I'm sure there is an easier way, but in Internet Explorer you can go to Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Fonts. Under Plain Text Fonts there's a list of non-proportional fonts.
