I use Textpad for virtually everything that requires an editor.

I notice that if I am running a Java application (JRE 1.3.1), and I invoke the "Find" dialog in Textpad, it flashes.

Is there a way around this?

Could you explain what you mean by "it flashes"

What flashes?
1 Textpad,
2 the textpad Find dialog or
3 your Java application?

And what exactly do you mean by "flashes"?
