Here's one I bet would be an interesting feature:

When there are multiple windows open, the ability to move the tab location ... for example to be able to put the tabs of two windows one was alternating between together.

I agree. It would be nice to be able to do this. When I code, I like to keep my files in a certain order from left-to-right, with the interface and/or code on the left, and primitives and/or library files on the right. While I could plan ahead and open and create files in a certain order, it's just too much of a hassle.

Unfortunately, I think any request will fall on deaf ears, since Textpad is (in my view) for-all-intents-and-purposes... dead.

Don't get me wrong, I love it and still use it for just about everything, but I think the developers are just leaving the site up in the off-chance that people still buy it.
