I have added a new class, assembler, with no syntax file, using the new class wizard in V4.5.0, but it does not appear as an option when using the file open dialog. I had a previous version of Textpad which worked OK like this.

Anyone know what's gone wrong? Thanks very much for any help.

Did you add a Filter for your class?

By filter do you mean the file masks?

I added "*.asm,*.s20,*.inc"

not the file masks for the doc class.

Configure, Preferences, Filter
