I have just started scripting QSL and would like to know whether TextPad is capable of compiling QSL.
Probably not.
TextPad is an editor, it doesn't compile anything.
You can add commands to the Tools menu so that you can execute
compilers from within TextPad. See the online help.
If you meant syntax highlighting, have a look on the add-on page.
