I want to edit an existing class. Is there any editor using which i can edit the syn files.
How to edit existing class.

Textpad?
If you go to Configure/Preferences/Document Classes/Your Document Class/Syntax,
there is a box in the righthand half of the dialog with the name of the syntax file.
Next to it is a button "Open".
Click it and the syntax file is loaded into Textpad and ready for editing...
Notice: changes in the syntax file will not be applied to files that are already open, only to newly opened files.
Under Help/Help Index/Content/Reference Information/Syntax Definition Files
you will find information about how to write a syntax file.
