Questions about keyboard behavior

I've been searching for the perfect editor and this one seems so close, I thought I'd ask about two keyboard behaviors that mar an otherwise excellent experience for me. I am wondering if anyone knows of some configuration to fix these behaviors, or if fixes are in the works.

1) Page up/down scrolls the window but doesn't move the cursor. If I want to start typing to the place I paged to (or move around with the arrow keys) I have to first move the cursor onto the screen with a mouse click. For someone who doesn't use the mouse much this is a major annoyance.

2) Repeat find changes the find text if anything on the screen is highlighted. This may actually be beneficial once you get used to it, but I'd rather repeat find look for the last thing I typed in the find dialog and not the next occurance of the selected text.

Thanks,

Then the version I'm using (4.5.0 32-bit) must have a bug because my scroll lock key isn't down. When I change the state of the scroll lock key it doesn't affect cursor movement, it always leaves the cursor in place regardless of the scroll lock state.

That's funny, I made a point of reading through the faq on the website before hitting the forums, but I didn't think that there would be a different faq in the help files.

Thanks,
Eric
