How to save color preferences for a document class

Hello,

I have changed the color preferences for the C/C++ document class, specifying different foreground and background colors for the keywords and other syntax elements, and even specified a color for the document margin. And I like the resulting palette a great deal to such a point that I am wondering if I could save these customized color preferences, in case I have to migrate to another machine.

Could I do such a thing (save the color preferences of a document class), and if so, then how?
