Hi there! I need an expert to asist me in adding the C# compiler as a tool in textpad.My operating system is Windows 2000 Professional Edition and had already installed the Microsoft.net FrameWork SDK however when selecting tools and clicking add choosing the program option i could not seem to find the CSE.exe file in my main Windows 2000 installation folder named ComPlus\v2000.14.1812.
So to obtain this file what option do i have to select in the Windows 2000 add on program and which folder is this CSE.exe located at ? Could anyone please tell me as i desperately need to use C# with Text Pad, I would be very greatful. thank you.

If you have installed the Microsoft.NET package (Check Windows Update), it should be a simple matter of finding csc.exe. Just open the find window and search for csc.exe. Note the directory that it is present in, and then browse Textpad to that directory and file. My directory was different than the one listed as well, it will change with newer versions.
