Is it possible to make only one word bold or italic instead of just the entire document?
Thanks for your help!

I'm afraid not. TextPad is a plain text editor. Using different fonts, sizes etc. in one document is not possible.

You could use TextPad to edit HTML files. Then you can select the word and choose "Font-Bold" or "Font-Italic" from the HTML Clip Library.
