Word Wrap (want default to be ww off)

Hi,
Read the FAQ so please don't flame me. I can't seem to get Textpad to remember my settings. Running Win2000. Checked registry keys and all seems to be in order. Also checked 'use last workspace" box in prefs. How can I get newly opened documents to default to "word wrap off".
Thanks,
John Stribling

Word Wrap is a property of the document class, so if you have document classes set up, you will need to change the property there. If you are not using document classes, or if you open a file that doesn't fall under any of your document classes, it goes on the default document class setting, and that will be the one you need to change.
In TextPad, from the Configure menu, select Preferences. In the tree view on the left, open up "Document Classes", and select the document class you want to change. The 6th option down from the top of the Document Class Options list on the right of that screen is "Word Wrap long lines". Uncheck that to stop lines from wrapping.
I've just noticed that there is an "Apply these settings to all document classes" check box under the list. I'm not sure if that only applies the changed settings to all document classes, or the all the settings to all document classes. I have quite a few different classes set up so I don't want to risk seeing what effect it has.
