Can you install *any* application without admin privs? If not, TextPad won;t be any different.

Hi Roy,
Yes, I can. Mor detailed:
The InstallShield starts. So far ok.
But the install rountine requests to create
a folder on C:\Programme\Gemeinsame Dateien\InstallShield.
(in english operating system version may be "C:\Program\Shared Files...")
In our environment I am able to install, if the installation do not create
folders or copy files to "read only" areas. For example I can create
C:\DATA\.......
Thanks in advance!

I dont' understand how you would go about installing textpad without admin priviledges.
At school, I have read only access to the entire drive(C:\),
Full (read/write) Access to the desktop(c:\),
And FULL (read/write) Access to a networked map drived on Z.
How can I get textpad installed?
