I downloaded TextPad 4.5 and a crack (for v4.4.0) and whenever I enter the
registration code, it stays registered for the next time I open TextPad, but
the 2nd time and on, it goes back to being unregistered. Any idea how to fix
this?

Yes.

If you like Textpad you pay Helios the money for a proper registration code, and then you wont have any problems.

Most of us here have paid for TextPad so have never come across the problem you are having. If you want help with this the you need to go elsewhere.

I think it is very bold to go to a forum on a software company page to ask how to use cracked software from that company.

You might be lucky enough that the Helios people do not take legal action if you officially buy the software immediately.

Jon, the word I wanted to use was the German word "dumm-dreist", but I could not remember the correct translation - I had no dictionary at hand and my online dictionary was "temporarily unavailable".

Now as I had time to look it up in a dictionary I know that "dumm-dreist" translates to stupid-perky or -impudent or -arrant or -brazen.
But I do not know which of them is the best translation...

Try "chutzpah."
