I need to be able to edit an existing textpad macro and save it as a new macro (i want to make a set of similar macros). I have seen that there is no macro editor in textpad and so i have used a hex editor to modify one of my textpad macros. I have put the macro in the correct directory, but it doesn't show up in the macro list when choosing 'Macro' in the menu. Do i need to make a copy/make reference to, my new macro elsewhere also, to get textpad to recognise it?

Replying to my own post...

It seems that I needed to reboot my PC, before the macro was added to the menu. I can 'see' it now.
