I'm sure I'm overlooking something very elementary. Could somebody please tell me how to set up the equivalent of the DOS $PATH variable in TP?

Why does TextPad use the absolute path to the 32 bit windows system directory when calling CreateProcess? Why not allow CreateProcess to search for the executable?

An alternative <i><u>might</u></i> be to set the path to javac, for example, when it is detected on installation.

But I think it would be better to allow the search.
