I have installed TextPad into my computer and there is no Compile\Run applet etc. under tools and i have already installed the JDK 1.3 version and there still no signs of it. Im a begginer with java and i really don't know how to use jdk1.3 either...

Also, is there a way to access jdk 1.3 through Start>Run>Command...

Operating System - Windows 98

Hi Rhea,

You should be able to get the JDK commands by going to Configure > Preferences > Tools, then Click Add, and select "JDK Commands." If not, then make sure the directory you installed the JDK to is in your system's PATH environment variable.

Good luck,
