My colors are gone!!!

For some reason, whatever java file I try to open, my file's colors are all black. I tried setting the "colors" under the Preference option but it still does not work. Any clues as to why this happen?

Is syntax highlighting active?
Check:
Configure | Preferences - Document classes - Java - Syntax
With the checkbox marked and the right syn file (hint: java.syn should do
) you should get coloured code...

Can't get syntax highlighting.
It is enabled, java.syn chosen, everything selected I think.
Still, nothing.
