Does anyone know if there is a new version coming out anytime soon. If so, any idea what new features we can expect?

Perhaps they let us know, too?
I'm really looking forward to hearing/reading from them soon.

The last time things went quiet for a while we got version 4, for me quite unexpectedly. Since 4.5 was released in July who knows may be something soon.

It would be nice if they would tell us that what they'r working on, and maby give a clue about when a new version will come.

Personally I have been pretty close to switch to UltraEdit, but if the Textpad team just would say that they have new version with some nice new features, I would never do that.

Yeah, I hope there'll be a new version soon too - it's been quite some time, and rival editors have moved on - for editing all files except Java, I use Textpad, but I'm afraid Helios will have their work cut-out to convert me back to Textpad from JCreator. Has anyone else seen it? For editing Java files, it's unbeatable (esp at the price!) - www.jcreator.com
