Hmm, I have a slightly irritating problem with textpad. It's different on different installations in the past for some reason.

I'm now running Windows XP with Textpad 4.5.

Whenever I'm coding, and want to page up, the cursor doesn't follow, so whenever I find the piece of code I want to change, I have to use the arrow keys and arrow up to where I want to be... the cursor doesn't follow the paging up and down.

I know there has to be a setting somewhere but I can't find it. Anyhelp?

Two things to check:

1. Under Configure | Preferences | General, there should be a "Constrain
the cursor to the text" option (for some reason I'm not seeing it right now
on mine, but it is mentioned in the doc. Strange.). Make sure that's
checked.

2. Make sure your scroll lock isn't on -- press your scroll lock key if it is.
