Hi,

Textpad has been running great ever since I started using it, but just a few days ago I lost all the colour for the text (e.g the colour of java keywords). When I open up html files, java files etc. all I get is black text.

Any idea how to fix this?

The colour is controlled by the syntax highlighting file. So the first things to check are
1. that the file extension (for html for example) is in the list shown under:
Configure/Preferences/HTML
2. The HTML.syn file exists in ...Program Files\TextPad\system
3. In Configure/Preferences/HTML/Colors select "Set Defaults"
4. Ensure the "Enable syntax highlighting" checkbox is ticked in Configure/Preferences/HTML/Syntax and that the Syntax definition file is given as html.syn
