Someone installed a evaluation copy of textpad in my computer and now every time I try to open a text document It comes with a annoying pop up window asking for registeration . Since I don't need it I tried to remove it through control panel add/remove programe , removing references in the registery and physically deleting textpad.exe file .But still my text files are opened with textpad .
I could not find any reference to textpad in my computer but still it is active.

Help from anyone is appriciated .

You have to remove the association with TextPad by going to Windows Explorer and changing the Tools/Folder Options/File Types.
