toolbars damaged

Something happened to my textpad installation -
when I try to customize my toolbars, they are not there.
The dialog box says (x = checked):
Customize:
x Suchen
(empty checkbox, no text)
(empty checkbox, no text)
That's all. I tried to delete the Docking Key from the registry, and it was rebuilt. No chage. I removed textpad, re-installed it. No change.
What could possibly cause the problem? what is the problem, by the way.
Suggestions, anyone?
