I'm sorry to rain on your parade, Jeff.
The news report mentions that the development team plans to add fuel cells, but there still was no mention of editable macros. Since it is govenment funded, I suggest we all (those of us in the US) write our congressmen. It may be the *only* way we'll get a commitment one way or another ...
