Data corruption

Is there any know occurences of textpad corrupting data? I am seeing a user's data getting "munged" on a regular basis when using textpad. We are trying to eliminate the filer and the frontend app - any ideas?

Which part of the data is corrupted?
With which version of Textpad are you working?
Earlier versions did break up long lines.
Tabs <--> Spaces? (Configure->Preferences->Document Classes->NameOfAClass->Tabulation: set to your needs)
Spaces at line ends removed? (Configure->Preferences->Document Classes->NameOfAClass, uncheck "Strip trailing spaces...)
As long as you do not specify what gets "munged" it is hard to give a solution.
