Since installing TextPad 4.4.0, on Windows2000, the File->New->Text_Document option has disappeared.

Re-installing, using TextPad 4.4.1, did not correct the situation.

How can I get the New->Text_Document option back ?

And/or how can I prevent this from occuring again (if I ever have to re-install TextPad) ?

I don't recall ever seeing that menu item. What difference was there between that item and the "File/New" item?
