I know this has been asked before, but I still can't figure out a reliable way to do this.

I merely need to insert a few lines of code at the beginning and ending of 3,000 files.

Tried it with clips, tried it with a "paste" macro. Tried it with both. Tried it with CTRL+TAB in a variety of ways.

I understand this is possible with UltraEdit? However, I don't want to switch over if possible.

Doing it with a Perl program is not an option for me.

Any suggestions?

Just tried it with UltraEdit--Slam Dunk. Took me 5 minutes to test on 100 files.

I love Textpad, but if you need to do something like this, UltraEdit is a breeze.
