I know this is a minor issue, but other applications support this...

When customizing a toolbar, how do you add or remove a vertical separator bar?

I'll add my wishes to this one as well.. I had just forgotten I wanted it

To make a separator bar in the toolbar just select an icon with the mouse after opening the customize window and nudge it slightly to the left or right, a separator will be made according to the direction nudged.

Or (without opening customize window):
press and hold down Alt key,
click and hold down left mouse button,
drag icon to the right to insert separator or to the left to remove separator
release left mouse button
release Alt key

You can't have two separators next to each other.
If you drag the icon too far, you will change its position within the bar instead of inserting a separator.

Cool, dudes. It works just fine. Thanks! It would never occur to me to try to "nudge" an icon.
