Does anyone know what this does. It brings up an icon with a finger over a key, it looks like some sort of macro record for the mouse, but I can't quite pin it down.

on my textpad, it is Ctrl-Q which does the same.
There are some commands which have a two-key shortcut. Ctrl-Q is the first (then the icon appears and vanishes when I type the next key.
On my textpad, all the commands in Configure menu have two-key shortcuts.
