Hello
i have a problem when editing a binary/ascii file with textpad in the BINARY mode. Whenever I edit with textpad, i cannot make any changes to the binary file. we deal with a lot of binary files wherein we need to make changes on some binary files at specified addresses. we used HEX EDIT previously but now when we were trying out TEXTPAD, i have come across this problem. could someone help me out with possible solutions/work arounds... Please Reply.

At the moment, it is not possible. There have been a number of users wishing this. Send an improvement suggestion (using the feedback link on this page), and the Helios people will consider it (the more people want this feature the more likely will it be implemented).

Many times I have asked, and Heidi sounds more enthusiastic about this than a year ago. Now is the time to gently rock the boat...
We should see it soon, if people really want this and say so!
