Hi-
There have been 2 or 3 threads about similar issues in the past, but I think this is a new one. I want to leave "allow multiple instances to run" checked, because I do want to be able run multiple instances of the app. BUT, I want to have a specific filetype that is associated with Textpad open into the current (last run)instance of Notepad, rather than starting a new instance.
Does this make sense?

NO, this does not make any sense! Why should a file associated with _Text_pad be opened in _Note_pad?

One way to accomplish what you probably want is to drag and drop your files on whatever instance of Textpad you want.

Oops. As Andreas kindly pointed out, the place where I say "Notepad" I mean "Textpad", hehe.
