Dear Moderator,

Q 1:
When reading messages in this forum I notice that an identifier follows the name of the author, like so: Roy Beatty (---.214.216.150) Other authors have a domain name appear: Joseph Schmoe (---.saltmine.com)

How can forum members control or affect the appearance of the identifier string for our forum "accounts"?

Q2:
Also, I had posted the above question as a reply to the Welcome message (first thread in this forum). I'm sure if you keep selecting "Older Messages" you'll see the "New!" next to it. How can I limit the threads displayed to only those with new messages?

Sorry for not answering before we have been very busy lately. My apologies.

Q1. The name is shown if the reverse domain name look up suceeds.

Q2. Sorry but you can not do this.
