opening multiple files

in 3.2.5 if you selected a group of files in explorer (or from any other list of files) textpad would open and the files would cascade. now, with 4.4, if you select five files, five separate copies of textpad open...wtf?

in general 4.4 kicks ass. but the multiple program launches is a big problem for us, as we use text pad to make changes in 20+ files simultaneously.

uh, yeah, well i guess i should have RTFM before i posted that complaint...i easily solved the problem in the preferences (unchecked "allow multiple instances to run").

really, i'm not generally this stupid. ha ha ha...sure. okay, so TextPad kicks ass and i don't. i can live with that.

Better still.. do it the way it was designed to... In the general preferences, check the "Allow multiple files on the command line" check box. Now you can set the "allow multiple instances to run" to whatever.
