I need to compare 2 files of approx 2 MB regularly, and easily see -
(a) New lines (b) Changed lines (c) Deleted Lines.
Textpad's File Compare utility puts all 3 in one file, and doesn't show
deleted entries. Ideally I would like 3 output files - 1 for New,1 for Changes,
1 for Deletions.
If not possible with Textpad, is there another utility (other than Textpad) which could do this?

The best file compare tool I have ever seen is one called SidebySide from Accel Software. It is shareware with a 30 day trial available for download at Accelsoftware.com. It costs only $25 to buy. It's a directory matching program that has a visual file compare option that is outstanding. It is very easy to see the differences.
