Backing up TP registries.

Does anyone know of a tool to backup TextPad's registry entries for settings etc? It takes an AWEFUL long time to fine tune my TP and then find myself re-installing Windoze a few weeks later. Maybe an export to/import from INI file or somesuch.

While I'm here.. has anyone got any decent free fixed-width fonts for use with TP? The ones installed with windoze aren't exactly pretty (or only come in one size)

I can't help you with the fonts, but you can use the standard registry editor to backup your settings, or export them to another PC. Click Start/Run, type regedit.exe, then select the following key and use the File/Export command:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Helios\TextPad 4

Thanks Keith! That will save a fair bit of time.

Thanks again (the sequel). I just did the weekly(seems like weekly anyway) windows reinstall and the registry backup technique worked well, INCLUDING not having to re-enter my registration code.

Cheers
