In TextPad 4.4.0, I created a new Class (Ron XML) with extension of *.rxm. I tried to create a file called test.rxm but it keeps coming out test.rxm (if I'm in All Files mode), or test.rxm.html, etc.

What am I missing?

Also ... how do I delete a class?

Hi Ron,

to delete a class, go to Preferences/Configure, select "Document Classes" in the tree on the left (not the class you want to delete), now select the class to delete in the listbox in the middle of the dialog and press delete or click on the red X below the list.

For the other problem:
Maybe it helps to remove the default file extension?
To do it go to Preferences/Configure, select "Edit" in the tree on the left, and remove any extension in the "Default File Extension" editfield.
