I having a problem setting (or finding a place to set) the default directory for saving new files. My default "start up" directory is set where I want it in the Folders section of the Preferences and the workspace file I created seems to load properly. However when I go to save a file in a particular location the settting is never remembered from one file to the next. (I like to keep the files I'm creating in one specific area). Can anyone help me or is this feature even available? Maybe a future enhancement?

Have you tried unchecking the "Working folder follows active file" on the "General" page of Configure/Preferences?

Andreas, yes that box is checked and has been since I installed the program. I too thought this might be the problem initially but since it has been checked from the start the problem still exists.

As I said above: try UN-checking it!
