The download link for the Intel64 version of TextPad 9.8.2 takes me to:

https://textpad.com/file?path=v9/TextPadSetupV9-x64.exe

which displays a "Not Found" message.

Cannot reproduce - I get a page with the header:

Checking that you are not a robot wasting Internet bandwidth.

...followed by a question/problem to answer/solve. Maybe you're using a VPN/cloud service to begin with?

I'm not using a VPN and up until recently (9.8.1), I would get the same robot prompt when downloading. I have tried an incognito window to eliminate cookies as a factor too.

I've attached a screenshot. The error is templated with the same header as the rest of the site.

Still works for me. I've included the address bar of my browser to show you it's no different from yours (but you could still compare this URI with the one displayed for your site):
On second guess you may want to send a private message to bbadmin with the IP address(es) you used and the user agent of your browser, linking to this topic, so he may look up the HTTP access log any maybe find you, and maybe even the culprit.

OK, thank you, Jack. I've contacted him.

Malwarebytes is the culprit. Once installed, it blocks the download, unless Edge is running incognito, or you configure it to allow Adds/Trackers from textpad.com. We don't have any of those, so it must be mistaking the download for one.
