v9.x Stacked Tabs view no longer available?

After upgrading recently to v9.2, the Configure -> Preferences -> View -> Tabbed Document Selector -> Stacked Tabs option no longer seems to be available.

I really miss this feature. Did it move somewhere? Can we bring it back, please?

I just upgraded to 9.4 and I miss this too. Did it move somewhere or is it going to be reinstated?
