TextPad 9.1.0 64bit Win10

I've encountered a problem with Vertical Tab Groups. I have 2 or more documents open. I select the Window menu in order to create a "New vertical tab group", but the option is disabled. I also have the Window Toolbar loaded, so when I select the "Tile Vertically" icon the screen splits properly in to 2 vertical tab groups. At that time, the Window menu options "New vertical tab group", "Move to next tab group", "Move to previous tab group" are now enabled and work properly.

Can anyone confirm similar behavior?

Can only suggest a workaround for this at the moment:

Drag a document tab to the right hand side of the active document.

I just discovered this issue today too.
The option to create a new vertical tab group from the Window menu is grayed out.
However, I can create a new vertical tab group by dragging the tab over the active document (as recommended), as well clicking the "Tile Vertically" icon on the Windows toolbar.
Once a new vertical tab group has been created it is now available on the Window menu, however, now the Create new Horizontal tab group option on the Window menu is grayed out.
I then have to use the Window toolbar to create a new Horzontal tab group.
Once I do that, the Create New Vertical Tabl Group option on the Window menu gets grayed out again.
