Macro Editing
Just to say thanks. Next to implementing Unicode this has got to have been the most frequently requested enhancement of all time.
Thank you, and
Best Wishes,

I'm honestly gobsmacked. I never thought they would actually implement this after having been requested for more than 18 years!
Oh yes, thanks for the macro editor!!!
Two small things I noticed:
If I change the scope within the macro editor this change won't be saved
(it can be changed using the Properties button in Configure-Preferences-Macros for the selected macro)
To see the commands available I have to close the macro editor and go to keyboard in preferences, look up the command, then go back to macros, open the editor again.
It would be nice to have the commands available within the editor. With a button to put the selected command into the editor.

Yes, the macros editor is very useful!
You can prduce a list of commands and their shortcuts with
Configure | Preferences | Keyboard | Categories: Some category | List
( Some category can be All. )
For convenient reference you can save the results in a permanent file.
To make the list accessible for copying & pasting you can open it in another instance of the editor.
