i have followed the instructions in help, How to Customize Fonts, but nothing changes on the screen.
what am i missing?

Are you sure you're following the instructions exactly, word for word?

Make sure you're selecting the appropriate Document Class. If you want to change the font for all document classes, select the Default class.

i am following the instructions exactly. i'v e selected the document class 'text'.
i've noticed that new documents do follow the new settings. how do i get old ones to do the same?
